Innovation is one of the key job search techniques that most individuals do not consider. In order to stand out from the crowd of people that are looking for jobs during 2011 it's important to innovate your job search daily. Take time to make a list of the people who you need to contact for practical advice on changes in your industry. Then pursue the education and training to put yourself in a new network of people who are moving into the new jobs in your industry.
Take 2011 as an opportunity to increase the number of people who are in your network. Make a list of people who can help you to uncover hidden jobs. You can never know too much about new ways that computers and technology are changing your job. Do your research. Be futuristic in your thinking. Join your chamber of commerce or join an association. Each day is brining you closer to the job that you desire. Remember to send thank you notes to everyone you never know who may remember you when a job is available.
