To be successful in this position you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Ability to develop program partnerships and funding sources.
- Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.
- Ability to oversee and direct staff.
- Basic knowledge of managing budgets and developing financial plans.
In addition, preferred requirements include:
- Advanced degree in relevant field.
- Experience working with immigrant populations or agencies that serve them.
- Experience managing projects using health or medical data.
- Experience managing social science research involving experimental methods and/or managing refugee/asylum-seeker programs.
- Demonstrated experience handling a multitude of highly detailed and complex tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and interact with diverse research partners (e.g., government agencies, nonprofits, universities).
- Demonstrated experience working in or managing activities within the nonprofit or government sectors.
- Ability to communicate at a professional level in a second language.
