Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing|
The Lansing School of Nursing and Clinical Sciences of Bellarmine University invites applications for a 12-month tenure track appointment as Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing. The starting date is flexible for this position.
Responsibilities may include both graduate and undergraduate nursing classroom, clinical and/or practicum teaching with opportunities available for interdisciplinary courses. Teaching responsibilities may include classroom and clinical/practicum teaching in the FNP program and undergraduate teaching opportunities in a variety of areas. An active research/scholarship trajectory is expected. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications. Preference is given to applicants who have a doctoral degree.
Master's degree in nursing required. Doctoral degree strongly preferred and required for tenure track, ranked appointment.
Required: License to practice nursing in Kentucky or ability to obtain such licensing if hired
Experience teaching in higher education preferred
Ongoing research/scholarship is preferred
The Lansing School of Nursing and Health Science offers the following undergraduate nursing programs: 4-year traditional and 1-year accelerated second degree tracks. The graduate nursing programs include: MSN in nursing administration, nursing education and Family Nurse Practitioner tracks and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). Additionally, an interdisciplinary PhD in Health Professions Education is offered in a hybrid format and a master's degree in Health Sciences is offered online.
