One-Year Instructor, Department of Communication

Job Description:

The Department of Communication at Bellarmine University invites applications for a one-year non-tenure-track position. The instructor will  teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Introduction to Graduate Studies, Intercultural Communication, Communication Ethics, Research Methods, and a special topics course in the candidate's area of specialty, in consultation with the chair or graduate director. The visiting instructor would also have the opportunity to teach classes on a per-course basis in summer 2020. Off-campus, university-owned housing can also be arranged for the school year.

For consideration, candidates must have a Ph.D. in Communication or a related field. Ideal candidates will have three years of teaching experience and documented proof of strong teaching experience in a higher education setting.
