Residence Life Coordinator|
The Department of Housing and Residence Life invites applications for the position of Residence Life Coordinator. This is a 12-month, live-in, full-time, exempt position with a flexible workweek of 40 hours where some additional evening and weekends hours may be included. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Housing and Residence Life. The Residence Life Coordinator's principle duties include supervision of student staff members including selection, training, and evaluation. This position also has responsibilities in student development, facilities management, student conduct, crisis management, advising hall council, case management and informal student counseling. The Residence Life Coordinator will oversee between two and four buildings. This staff member is asked to share their innovative and energetic personality, strong organizational, and time management skills to advance the residential program and student success here at Bellarmine.
- Master's degree in College Student Personnel or related field required
- Experience with residence life programming, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work with diverse constituencies, knowledge of principles of student development, and a strong student-centered philosophy is preferred
- Ability to manage and motivate staff and students and develop programs is essential
